Sculptured Flows

Description

I am constantly fascinated by the surface tension of snow. Just like the liquid version of water, the solid version, snow, also has a surface tension.

Yet, even with that, the surface can undulate and move, seeming to flow with energy. It starts with the fall of flakes of snow on whatever is under the fall of snow. And then temperature and wind act on the fallen snow.

This results in a smooth finish very much like icing on a cake. In this image, we have all of that and then the shadows of trees from across the river enhance the depth and dimensions of the Sculptured Flows.
